AW17’s Most Coveted Colours

The autumn colour palette is one of our favourites, with the season bringing a range of tones, hues and shades that bring warmth amidst the dip in temperature.

Whether you’re already a big autumn fan or you need a bit of convincing, our autumnal takes on Ben Sherman classics will give you all you need to see you through the season.

Wine

Wine is perfect for the season, sported as a single layer under a transitional jacket on warmer days, our Romford Polo is the perfect way to bring this trend into your look. Wine also works brilliantly as part of a check, such as our Marl Tartan Shirt, or make a seasonal statement with our Bonded Wool Parka in wine.

Red

Red is a key shade of the trend forecasters this season featuring on many of the AW17 runway shows, our Long Sleeve Winter Polo Shirt in chilli marl is the perfect nod to this statement colour or go all the way with a Knitted Milano Jacket.

Mustard

In addition to the typical deep and brooding shades, the catwalks of the season are also using brighter tones to lift the colour palette. Clearly vibrant shades of yellow or lemon would be inappropriate in such circumstances, so mustard is the perfect autumn solution. Dressed backs with grey, charcoal or navy, this autumn hue works so well with a more classic men’s colour palette. Our mustard Knitted Polo Shirt or mustard Target T-Shirt tick the box for layering in this key colour.

Navy

While navy works year round, it really comes into its own as the clocks turn back. Take the lead of the catwalks and opt for navy on navy to create an utterly contemporary tonal look. To take the look to another level, experiment with different textures, our Cable Crew Neck jumper is the perfect way to do this as is our Chevron Crew Neck jumper or Knitted Milano Jacket.
